At the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, many interesting apartment buildings were built on Janáček's embankment. This neoclassical house was built in 1879 according to the design of Ing. Emil Weiss, and later modified according to the proposal of Ing. Štěpán Koloschka. The loftiness and nobility of this object is given by the corresponding location. The building has a luxurious entrance portico with Ionic columns, a spacious entrance hall and vestibule. The facade is decorated with balustrades, it has a newly reconstructed entrance with a gilded grille, an original oak door with flaring and a cast brass handle or sandstone steps from the Vyhnánov quarry. The balconies to the yard have metal railings of classicist shapes. The windows are in profiled chambers with triangular pediments, under a cornice with a prominent frieze with plastic decoration.
