LIVING IN PRAGUE 5 - HŘEBENKA, JINONICE, STRAHOV, KOŠÍŘE, MOTOL, MALVAZINKA

The location of this exciting residential area is superb. On one hand it can provide its residents with an oasis of green areas, while on the other hand it provides an easy access to the Prague centre by numerous trams and buses. The shopping opportunities are also excellent thanks to the local hypermarket Tesco in Nový Smíchov and there are also Tesco Stores and Ikea just a short drive away.

The centre is Smíchov - and the heart is Petřín, which is the most popular park in Prague. And it has a lot to offer. A visit to Petřín is a usual part of Saturday or Sunday family walks. The famous rose garden is very often a place of romantic dates.

The Hřebenky area and its closest neighbourhood, including some villages, are popular places where many French and German expats choose to live.

Located on a top of the hill, Strahov boasts a great view of the city and offers superb residential living in Pre-World War II villas and modern houses.

The residential architecture in Prague 5 includes: classical style apartments on the riverside, historical villas in the Hřebenka area, semidetached houses and new projects (Trinity Gardens, Sacre Coeur, XY Na Hřebenkách).

The amount of free houses for rent is very limited in Prague 5; there is virtually no new project similar to Malá Šárka in the neighbourhood of the international school in Nebušice. The only complex of newly built family houses is situated in Jinonice in the closest neighbourhood of a German international school.
